The press is not free and they most likely will not cut off the hand that feeds them..The biggest advertisers are drug companies. Legal pot would cut into their very pricey Aids and Cancer drugs. The reality is that pot is already widely available. |

Cannabis functions more as a complement than a substitute for cancer and AIDS drugs. Drugs likely to be replaced by pot include painkillers and mood regulators, categories which according to Merck-Medco constitute over half of Rx receipt growth. |
