I found it interesting you mentioned Scythians converting to Buddhism. I have long found buddhist texts reminiscent of cannabis. Further, I've read several apparent references to cannabis in buddhist texts. What do you know about cannabis and buddhism?

Legend has it that budha subsisted on 1 hemp seed a day durring his years of silent ascetiscim. As well, medieval depictions represent budha with "soma" leaves in his begging bowl. A number of buhdist sects incorporate hemp.

seems like it would have been fairly interesting, but I couldn't overcome the sound problems - as someone else mentioned. the narrative would seem muted. then, just as I would get the volume cranked up to compensate the video's sound would return LOUD :-(
