If you happen to get back to CBC you could ask them to check out how the New West Police does not tolerate it's use and threatened me with arrest. I only asked what my rights are. How does it's use become acceptable? I am only a proud canadian.

I liked that the show portrayed the emotion behind the flight of the fugitives. A more detailed description of the circumstances that initated the the prosecution would help. While the show was objective, a more critical commentary would be appropriate.

I was truly moved by the stories...but I also wish they had given more of the reasons these particular Americans came to BC. I know from first hand conversations that the circumstances surrounding their flights are tragic. Brave people!
