An interesting debate, but something occured to me. Why isn't the downtown eastside being cleaned up? Society seems to take a blind eye to the addict, rather then dealing with the problem face to face, sad really.

Seems the last entry was not made by me. You can't take a blind eye to addiction, not that I was saying pot was bad, cause it's a wonderful thing, but some people just can't handle the drug.

You can deal with the problem of hard-core drug addiction two ways: The USA/China "death to dealers forced treatment to addicts" way, and the "dignity to users of all drugs" way like in Holland, Frankfurt etc etc... scapegoating is THE deadly addiction!

Griphin: Please explain yourself. I've never seen or heard of any serious withdrawl symptoms for pot. Are you seriously comparing it to heroin withdrawl? Has anyone out there had SERIOUS withdrawl from pot??? Please respond if you have.

Nasty signs of withdrawl for heavy users: Nightmares (lasting up to 2 weeks), body aches/chills, sickness, stomach cramps. Seems odd, doesn't it? But then again each person is different.
