EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH DR. MOLLIE FRY

MEDICAL MARIJUANA REFUSAL THREATENS LIFE
HALIFAX -- Michael Patriquen says he just wants to relieve his pain. But in his appeal to the Federal Court for medical marijuana treatment in prison, he has thrust himself into the spotlight as a medical marijuana martyr.

IMLER COPS A PLEA
LOS ANGELES (NBC) -- LACRC founder Scott Imler has agreed to plead guilty to one count of maintaining a drug establishment, a charge that carries a statutory maximum of 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $500,000, though a judge would likely impose less than that under federal sentencing guidelines.

SMART SENTENCING INITIATIVE A STEP FORWARD ON POT POLICY
COLUMBA, MO -- On April 8, Columbia voters will consider the Smart Sentencing Initiative, a proposal to make three important changes in city ordinances concerning marijuana possession. The initiative legalizes "medical" possession upon the recommendation of a physician, reduces the penalties for non-medical possession by setting a maximum fine of $25 for the first offense, and directs city officials to handle all such issues in municipal court.

OTTAWA STAYS PEI POT CHARGES
PRINCE EDWARD -- The federal Justice Department says it will stay all charges of marijuana possession on Prince Edward Island involving less than 30 grams until the law is clarified.

They are blinking: on Friday March 28 @9:58AM
If you look real close at the Imler deal you can see the federal government blinking. They are admitting to themselves that medical marijuana is not a despicable scam.

Randy: on Friday March 28 @11:40AM
Though it might seem that the war on marijuana users is being eclipsed by another immoral war being covered in the media, I think the public is more receptive than ever to our cause and our collective plea to end the hostile assaults against us.

A proposition: on Friday March 28 @12:28PM
Let's give the patients of the MMJ movement a chance to rate the leaders instead of always hearing the leaders rate each other.

Disappointed from Ohio: on Saturday March 29 @4:07AM
The story on the smart sentencing initiative is attributed to the wrong state. It should be Missouri (the show me state) instead of Ohio. The mapinc.org link to the original story says the same.

Wow! Michele, i believe that was your most powerful show, yet! Thank you (and Steve in the background :-} ...so much for your insight. Great guest today. Here is an idea for a guest: the new U.S drug czar lady. Ask her what's up with this war on sick.

Think again: on Saturday March 29 @10:21AM
She's not the Drug Czar and being from the DEA, the most openly sexist racist homophobic agency in Washington, I doubt she thinks of herself as a lady.

Think again: on Saturday March 29 @10:24AM
There are very many sexual assault and harassment lawsuits going on in the DOJ, this woman's hiring could just be purely to address that issue.

Dr. Molly Fry makes some excellent points that shouldn't be glossed over too quickly. Marijuana is very effective and safe medicine, & what the hell is the federal government doing telling us to take dangerous and addictive narcotics???

5 months ago a doctor told me to "stop the pot in order to allow the Paxel to work". 5 months latter I was up to 50mg Paxel, 60mg Buspar, and 0.50 mg Xanax daily. 15 days ago I stop supporting the pill pushers. I never did slow down on the smoking

I wanted to thank Dr. Fry for giving me comfort that dropping the meds was the right thing to do. Those things have a way of making you think there really is something misfireing that really does need repaired. They are wrong. THC is the only way to go!!
