I understand that the whole Flin Flon thing is kind of sad, but do you really need to sound so condescending? We've gotten the Canadian government to start growing medical marijuana. That's a damn good start, in my book. |

With the logic of the Canadian government towards medical marijuana... does this explain the Canadian Space Program... you only qualify if you flunked high school math? |

Yes, the new Canadian medicinal marijuana law is a sham as it currently stands. But it's still better than nothing. And you're still light years ahead of the US. Canada is moving forward, these things, unfortunately, always take time. |

Rock admitted he hasn't come up with the perfect solution but I think he's doing an OK job pushing the med marijuana issue into the mainstream. He's up against a lot of resistance, in Canada and elsewhere. It's not realistic to expect giant steps forward. |

The plants they showed on TV news looked pretty scraggly. Too far from the lights? What about the contamination suits, breathing masks, and hard hats? Funny to see these precautions when people can easily grow the stuff in their backyard w/ no hard hat! |

If nothing else, the new restrictions take away police discretion in prosecuting medpot cases. Obviously they are buried in a pile of bureaucracy and the "compassion" argument is nowhere to be found... |
