Toronto Compassion Centre staff were released on bail Wednesday on the condition they shut down their medical marijuana distribution to 1,200 patients.

Lynn and Judy Osburn were arrested during an early morning raid at their home Tuesday as Drug Enforcement Administration agents seized 32 marijuana plants. Both appeared in federal court Wednesday afternoon on charges of manufacturing a controlled substance and maintaining a drug establishment. Judy Osburn's bond was set at $120,000.

FEDS BUST OSBURNS FOR 30 PLANTS
Lynn and Judy Osburn, who were raided last year for growing medical marijuana for the LA Cannabis Research Center, were raided again by narcotics agents today. Their attorney, Bill Panzer, says they were growing some 30 plants for personal medical use. The US attorney has indicated that he intends to charge them with cultivation.
SANDWICH SHOP OFFERS "PINNERS, NUGS AND BLUNTS"
The 32-year-old owner of Cheba Hut shops in Tempe and Mesa started his first pot-themed restaurant only five years ago, but today he is planning three franchises in Tucson, Flagstaff and Lake Havasu.
