Write a letter to the Dauphin Herald in support of John Woods and contact the police, mayor, and the Correctional facility where they have John prisoner and tell them to stop persecuting people for pot when there is in fact no federal Law regarding its use or possession.

John, hang in there. Very sorry to hear you're still in jail. I know you're dedicated to the cause, and I hope this experience doesn't take away any of your enthusiasm for activism. You're doing a great job educating Dauphin.

Thank you Pete. I went to jail for herb for just one day (although the cops assured me that I would be locked up for years) and remember thinking to myself if I could just get out of this cage long enough to kill myself then everything will be all right. This is the madness they force onto us. John, hang in there. I am sure everything will work out for you. Locking up someone in a cage simply because they use cannabis makes as much sense as caging someone up because they used aspirin. How much longer will we tolerate this injustice? It looks like one way or another the days of arresting any peaceful cannabis consumer in Canada will soon be over but who will be the last person to die in the "war"? discuss this show in the CC forums >
