If they had interviewed David Malmo Levine he would have pointed out that high potency Cannabis is actually benificial to health because natuarally you have to smoke less to get a buzz.Sometimes with Shwagg you do more dammage to your lungs than good for your head.
Did you spot Scott who works at Blunt Bros in first bit and see Chris Bennet in the store and the old footage of Marc Emery when he still had glasses toking up?
That lady from the states is making and awfully big assumption when she says "canadians would want to export their best product to the states" and that makes up for decrepency between what US cops say potency is and what the offical RCMP site says and SCIENCE say.
For one thing the "BC BUD" shipped to the US is usually done by "organized crime " and believe me they are not interested in quality only quantity and will bulk it up with northern lights or big bud to get the most and biggest buds they can not necessarily the "best medicine".
In BC us locals get to buy from the ma and pa growers and/or compassion clubs who take care when growing their herb to keep it as organic and possible and select strains for flavor, potentcy or medical benefits cause they toke it themselves . There not interested in just as much bulk as they can get .
I think that tourist at end of tape who said his swamp weed back home was better might have just got ripped off by the crack heads down hastings street or something .
Its not even so much, like Emery has said, that the genetics have changed so much or are that different then what we used to get . The real differance is the "CARE" that is put into growing now. Think about it, how much crystal is on some bud thats been packed into bricks and transported in a dusty truck across the mexican boarder going to have left on it ?
You take that same strain and grow it using organic hydroponics under proper lighting and cure it properly its going to have trichomes on it still and be alot more potent .
