Description

2nd story on Show Page.
In the wake of a new government-sponsored study examining the health benefits and risks of marijuana, an Ole Miss scientist may have devised a solution that could satisfy all sides of the debate: a suppository form of the drug THC that will likely work better than a cigarette or a capsule. According to Dr. Mahmoud ElSohly, president of ElSohly Laboratories Inc. and a research professor at the National Center for the Development of Natural Products, a rectal suppository allows for increased THC absorption in the body without the psychological "high" associated with smoking marijuana.
