School lockdowns dangerous

When did our schools become prison camps?

With each passing day there are more school lockdowns, with commando-style raids on our children. Police doing sweeps of the halls with their guns drawn and attack dogs at their side. How much longer will it be before one of our children is hurt or killed by the actions of our law enforcement?

Our kids are forced into mandatory drug tests, but not tested for alcohol. Why is this? Why has the state gone to such great lengths to treat our children as prisoners and our schools as prisons?

Could it be that the U.S. holds the highest incarceration rate in the world, and they are preparing our kids for their future?

This video shows how far beyond rational thought the WOD is. Cops pull their guns when they feel they may need to defend themselves. So these particulars cops thought that the "drug dealers" they were pursuing may very well become violent and open fire. Therefore, they were willing to provoke gun toting criminals and then were willing to return fire while hundreds of innocent students were within a few feet of gunfire. All this so they could possibly seize , at best, a few hundred dollars worth of illegal substances. Fucking nuts, absolutly nuts........ Oh yeah and I remember when this story first broke a month ago, the police were asked why they didn't find anything. The responce was, they thought someone tipped off the dealers. PALEASE!!! What bullshit. It can be so frustrating at times, most Americans couldn't care less this even happened or will happen again.

Does anyone know yet if they were glocks? Glocks are the least-safest gun out there, as far as I can tell. If there were Glocks there, that should be made an issue.

This is like Rodney King all over again, with all the racism and intimidation and "white-supremist BS power-tripping" .... except without beatings. The differences are closer than the similarities. An unpredictable moment caught on tape, and then digested by the community before the cops could really figure out if that was a smart idea.

I predict that many, many people are going to lose their jobs over this ... one of which might be Dubya.

It seems to me that if the cameras are there, then the cops have to behave. If the cameras are NOT there, then THAT's scary - THAT'S the real TERROR. It was as if the cops invited themselves into EVERY house all at once CNN) and did this little "preview" of the drug war - an Orwellian nightmare - for all to see.

The only good thing about Goose Creek was that it was filmed and put on CNN. We now - and by "WE" I mean everyone who gets CNN pumped at them (pritty much everyone on the friggin planet) - have a common reference to sum up all that is perverted and wrong about the war on pot:

Nice going, officers. Now, now that it's out in the open, trade those glocks in for safer weapons, leave pot users, growers and retailers the HELL alone, go after people who actually hurt other people and don't EVER, EVER go into a school again with your guns drawn unless there is some deadly threat. Do it now before you suffer the further shame of the community forcing you to do it.
