Who speaks after Dennis Peron?
Fnord_Prefect,
Thu Jan 15 22:47:55 2004 Does anyone know who encourages attending a smoke-in after Dennis Peron tells his story? She seems familiar, but I can't place her.
Wow, Dennis has been fighting for a long time! What a brave and determined man he is. It really puts things in perspective for those of us who were too young to be aware of these issues at the time this movie was produced.

Thu Jan 15 05:17:08 2004 WOW BRINGS BACK MANY Fond memories, i was alive back then and in fact a band i was in called The Lost Highway Ramblers were the opening act at the 1979 smoke in in nyc , we also played many gigs at studio 10(a yippie music club) at 10 bleeker st. right across from the famous cbgb's club.i partied with dana beale and aron kaye "the pieman".great folks and was just so much fun.we also on occasion played at the yippie residence known as studio 9 which was directly accross the street from studio 10.i used to have some pictures of the event but they may have been lost over the years, i'll look for them and post em if i find em.i was hoping to see footage of the '79 event but hey i'm not even sure they have any, maybe in some old eyewitness news clips as geraldo rivera was a young correspondent at the time and just starting out.i remember my parents freaking out when they saw my band on the news and i had told them i was gonna be elsewhere at the time...lol.
