No doubt about it, since Marc's been in jail there is a new tone in his political rant, and from the letters and phone-calls we've been recieving, it has some people worried. " Letters to the editor, or begging letters to the justice minister — who is presiding over our imminent further demonization, arrest, and incarceration — are futile (the same justice minister whose agent sent me to this gulag for three months for passing a joint).
Richard Cowan's phrase "Freedom has nothing to fear from the truth" is all wrong — the question is what do giant, barbarous, genocidal governments have to fear from the truth? And the answer is: they have to fear nothing. When Richard Cowan says "What have you done for freedom lately?" I would instead ask "What have you sacrificed for your freedom, for your culture, and for your people lately?" And I say you've done nothing at all.
In the time it takes you to write your letter to the editor or to your member of parliament or to your congressman, 10 to 20 people — our people — were rounded up. Do you feel good about that? Do you? You feel like you accomplished something, did you?"
- i hope that demotivational speech doesn't get printed in the media
that rallying cry will motivate a few militant-types while discouraging the majority...i don't feel that i've done nothing at all by writing letters to cotler, city council, and the media (and a personal letter to mr emery)...i don't need emery's approval but i'm discouraged that he's expressed his disapproval of my efforts
i understand and empathize with mr emery's growing well of resentment but his cup runneth over on the wrong people

marc sounds like he's angry and who can blame him.he does make some incredibly valid points tho.i'm sure when he gets out and has a chance to chill he'll mellowout.more people should listen to this.i wish marc the best.

I believe that Marijuana is more accepted now then it has been in the last few decades. Our plan is to "overgrow" not over throw. We must continue to handle this intelligently. To accomplish the task of ending prohibition, we should not alienate ourselves, but instead portray the "average Joe" that comes home from work and wants to enjoy a joint to relax.
Please Marc. We have been so successful. Don't divide us now. We love you and support you.
P.S. Pot should also be non-denominal. Personally I don't want to ponder my religion while high thank you. HEHEHE
