Hello Pot-TV land,
I am Jeff Stewart and this is my film. It is true that the main question is not fully answered. I don't think there is a definitive answer to the question. The answer is The United States is why we have and continue to have prohibition. The bigger question would be why can't Canadians stand up for ourselves? I guess we are kind of like the gay uncle who couldn’t come out to his big brother because he's afraid that he won’t get his presents at Christmas and not get invited back to dinner.
I’m glad I made this doc, it has been a learning experience, and I hope to make a full length feature some day. And thanks to all the people who made this doc possible. Without brave souls to fight oppression, our society is lost.
And if you’re living in the US please VOTE! I know it’s not my country, but I’m afraid Canada may get invaded if Bush wins… “Canadian Bacon” could become a reality…

Some nice editing though occasionally lethargic; or perhaps the cannabis took over at some point. Some fine shot selection, professional-looking colour choice. Aside from the fact of US pressure on Canada and decades of Reefer Madness re-runs, I don't feel this flick asnwered its question. That's more a fault of the choice of title.
I look forward to this film maker's next production.
