It's marijuana harvest season. Of course, law enforcement knows that, but so does the U.S. Post Office. In the last two days, postal authorities have seized over a ton of pot. Over 2 million pieces of mail go thru the processing and distribution center at the CherryBelle station every day. Among those, packages marked "Parcel Post" or "Priority Mail." Postal Inspector Jim Harper says, "It's alleged 90% of all drugs coming into the country are coming from Southern Arizona. Obviously, a lot of that moves through the mail."

Re: Tucson Postal Inspectors seize ton of marijuan
HazE_nMe,
Wed Nov 17 21:37:08 2004 Way to go fellow Tucson smugglers!! Good ol brute force approach will never fail as long as there is demand for cannabis in the states back east. I have seen a lot of REALLY good mexican pot lately, and its normal commercial prices ($60USD/OZ) I haven't needed to buy any though, since I pulled in my november harvest and started the january harvest greenhouse up Lots of happy people down here in the desert southwest :-Y discuss this show in the CC forums >
