(WJZ) BALTIMORE Just last year the Supreme Court struck down a Maryland law easing the penalties on the terminally ill. Now the Food and Drug Administration is siding with the nation's highest court saying the drug serves no beneficial purpose.
"I think it's a good ruling because for a lot of years we've been having kind of this mixed message that's been sent to our children that marijuana is OK," Mike Gimbel, Director of Substance Abuse Education at Sheppard Pratt Health System tells WJZ's Sharon Gibala.
