when to stop nutrients [Post#: 100507 ]  

At what point is it time to stop using nutrients and start running straight water? Since it's difficult to predict the actual finishing time, I wouldn't want to starve the plants by cutting their food supply a week early. When you do decide that it's time, do you gradually lower the ppm., or cut them off cold turkey?

Hey Dog..Go by a couple factors.Know the length of flowering cycle for the strain and I start when there is 60-70% red hairs.Judging by both will get you close to when it's time.I do a MINIMUM of a 10 day flush.Usually no more than two weeks...IMHO..PEACE..
