Emily's garden..is it for me?

Hey guys. I am seriously considering going hydro here either on my next grow or the grow after. I use a 400watt hps. My question is ... Will the 400watt hps match up well with and emily's garden hydro set? Is it worth the extra 70 bucks to get the megagarden (which uses ebb+flow)? This emilys garden thing looks quite appealing.. heck its only 80 bucks and comes with everything to get you started. If it will help my yeild and quality... im all for it.

Hey jeez..Not familiar with emily.why don't you try some bubblers?They've always been an interest to me.Lots of info here on them.You can grow some bitchin' plants in them done right.Just remember with you 400 watter,don't go any bigger than a 3' x3' area.Plenty of room for some bubbler action.Can't see it being an expensive setup.Equipment is easy enough to get your hands on.Just a thought..IMHO..PEACE..

Well.. The emily's garden is a hydro setup that was developed by the Mr.Ed guy(i think i got that name mixed up.. cant remember correct one..). It holds 6 plants.. and its like 16"x24". Seems like it would be perfect for a 400watter... seeing that its not real big.

Jeez I have emily cranking out bud right now and it works well under a 400w light along with 3 bubblers.....If you can follow directions and be easy on the ferts you will see amazing growth over soil with emily`s garden.....

If you decide to go with the Emily, I suggest you put six clones in it and grow ScroG. You will eliminate the bush effect and open more of an area for budsites. I must warn ya, being experienced with the mega-garden, it's a pain in the ass to make nutrient changes considering the resevoir is the base of the unit. This brings me to another good reason for a bubbler! I just swap a 5 gallon bucket of old for a 5 gallon bucket of fresh nutrients as needed
1 little tip....One healthy plant grown in a bubbler can produce more than twice the amount grown by Emily without ScroG, I am serious.
Attached is a pic of the top of my bubbling bush, if anyone can beat it with a pic of six plants in an Emily, I'll sit back and never brag another word about a bubbler as long as I post here (excluding advice!), but if nobody posts a pic, I think we should vote the bubbler as the best "single" plant hydro system EVER! Hands Down!! What do you say? Care to step up to the plate and challenge my BUBBLING BUCKET?
Info for the pic I present:
This is one plant at 10 weeks of age, six veg and four flowering w/ 4-5 weeks left.
Strain: Unknown (hybrid for sure)
Nutrients: GH Flora Series 3 part
Additives: ProTek and MagPro w/ 1 dpg Superthrive during Veg.
Lighting: 400MH/Vegetative & 400HPS/Flowering
Atmosphere: Avg. 72-77º Day 73-68º Night (fans during daylight only)
Grown in a climate controlled cabinet w/ total 5sqf (3x2)

all i can say is WOW. Thats a super-lush plant!! Bubblers systems are quite cheap correct? They seem like the way to go hmmm.. Im defenitly going to investigate things more before i decide exactly what im going to do. Thanks for all your input.
