venting heat into basement grow area

The temp in my grow area droped from 65* to 50* after inclosing it with a silver tarp.So today I ran a pc of 4"dia drain tube from the heat duct into the side of the tarp.The temp is now up to around 70*,but the humidity has fallen from 60% to 30% (drip system is still off & empty yet). Also my sump pump is in the corner of this area,once I have the res filled and running can I expect the humidity level to come back up enough? I've got some expendable sprouts in there now,off to the side uncovered by dome under this 150w circle flo.,had the 400w MH on,plants get indirect light from that as well,and were showing signs of frying,so I raised the 150w flo to 5-6" above them and misted them good.I need to know the best course of action for this area before I introduce the "good" seedlings I should have in a few days.What to do... loose the 150w flo, kill the MH for now, block off the new heat vent, or just run water thru my system to bring up the humidity level ????? Or maybe keep the new seedlings in a different area under std 80w flos? I hope ya can help me out,I'm a bit worried I'll kill the $$$ seedlings if I don't get this under controll soon,so far thats where the bagseed sprouts are headed.(at least they're expendable). thanks in advance.....PEACE....

Once you start your system your humidity should raise a bit.For now cover seedlings with a dome until humidity raises or a couple light mistings daily.30% is a little low for seedlings.Still try to keep them flours as close as possible for best results.If you put a dome over them don't mist.May make it a little too humid for them and could lead to damping off..IMHO..PEACE..

The humidity should go up a little, 40-60% is ideal. Regarding the misting, I would avoid misting for the same reason you do not water your lawn during the day...you will Burn your grass. Humidity is good...condensation on the leaves is bad; water droplets act as magnefiers.
Good luck...BTW, the dome is better because is raises the humidity.
