when to get in hydro ?

How many sets of leaves is best before putting my plants into my drip system with 400w MH ? Also what watering schedule woul be best ?

Under a 400w, you could start them whenever you are ready, however growth will not be any better than fluros placed 1" above the plants tops. When the fourth set appears, they are strong eneough for the bigger light. Remember to keep a distance at the start and lower a little each day. If it is too warm on your hand directly under the light, it is too warm for your plants. Having a fan blowing across the plants and there tops will allow your light to come a little lower, and help strengthen the stems. Hope this helps...K_K

I transplant into my hydro when the root comes through the bottom of my starter medium, that method has always worked great for me.

Once my clones have rooted....with roots clearly sticking out of the rockwool, and after they've been under flo's for a couple of days to "harden" them I put them directly under my 400WMH.
Green is my favorite color.
