Hi,
Just wondering how much electricity does Hydro use? Is it that much of a difference? And how difficult would it be to clean it up in the event of intrusion?

My double nozzled air pump (for bubbler) kicks out 2800cc a minute and only uses 3 watts.

Depending on your setup, very, very little. 4ftx4ftx8ft bubbler grow uses one optima airpump that uses less power than a normal lightbulb. Other than the air pump, there is nothing else hydro-specific that uses electricity.

Here in quebec it costs about 6 cents per 1000 watt/hours...
in my closet (2'x4') i have a 400 watt hps and a 400 watt mh,3 air pumps(3watts each) and a 3 speed fan(5watts) ,for a total(814watts) under a 1000watts per hr.So it costs just under .06 cent per hr($0.06x24hrs/day=$1.44 per day ).

Just a little math correction, a kilowatt hour is (Watts * hours)/1000 so 814watts only cost $1.17 per day @ 6cents a kWh if running 24hrs. If your 2 lights are on 12/12 than its only $0.60 a day. Pretty damn cheap for the return it gives.
