Looking for the right system

I am a newbie and i would like to now if i am using a 1000wt light and i am going to only let the plants get big enought that thay will give me one ounce a plant how way plants do you think that i could get under that light and what typ of system would you sugest

Try ebb& flow.4x8 tables are available.4x8 area calls for another light.1000 watter not enough(31 watts sq/ft)2x1000watter gives 61 watts/sq/ft.40 watts sq/ft is general rule to get a decent yeild and tight nugs.If you are going to stay with 1-1000watter at least consider getting a light mover.It'll help give you better coverage.Done right 4"x8" area can make you 3-4 lbs every 7-8 weeks.IMHO..PEACE..

Don't want to argue but a 1000 wt light should be plenty for a 4x8 table if your rooms mylared and your system and ventilation are ok. you want to keep them small best do a sog that way your newest and oldest can be on each side and your middle buds really building them colas get pounded with the direct light. afoaf used 20oz styro cups with the sides and bottoms swiss cheesed bloomed at 6-10" and yeilded between 1/2-1 1/2 oz on each clone in 10 weeks ( three for flush) and thats with a low yeilding mikado hybrid expect an average of 1-2 oz on a larger yeilder ie sweet skunk. you'll need to design a separate mini flushing system though or your nugs will taste shitty, but if you want the most out of your light and don't want to fuck with the heat and eletric used of another 1000 go for it make your room 4X7 so you can have a 1 foot access path down the center and room for a table with larger plants to screen for new mothers.
