Would it be possible to grow some plants from seed then take some clones just before going to 12/12, keeping the clones under fluros till the the plants you took the clones from have finished flowering (8 to 10 weeks),then harvest the first plants and replace them with the clones you took from them ?
"pot" whats that something you put your soup in? (me before i started smoking)

Yeh, that's possible..that's the way I plan to do it..not hydroponically, but it's the same concept..

Except your one thing wrong
plants form seed need to be sexed first.
Or weed out the males
if you plant from seed, you wont know if your cloning from males or females.
The best way is to get all your plants to 8 inches
kick the lighting to 12/12
depending on the strain 5 to 10 days the feamlaes and males will show themselves.
Now weed out the males.
You can now continue to flower out the small plants and take one or too back into a 18on/6off vegative room.
Big plant growers will opt to turning the light right back to a 18 on 6 off veg lighting, to get them bigger.
regardless which way you grow (go) you will now hav all females for cloning
now you can have what you wanted a cloning area and a veg/flowering room
with all females

i've read 5 to 7 days but mine are at 8 days and i'm still not sure about sex. i am new but it seems some strians take longer than 5/7 days. my plants are healthy and i can see traits of male on some i still see no pistols on any.
everyone should be free.not just me.

I was talking bout taking the clones from the plants without putting them into flowering..because goin to flowering, then revegging shocks the plants and you're delayed a week or two. Anyway, take the clone..put thme under some flos 12/12 and let them show sex. IF they are male..take them out and take the plant you took the clone from out..if they are females, then you're all good and you keep growing.

say i grow 4 plants from seed ,take 4 clones from each plant (to be on the safe side incase something goes wrong) and tag them so I know which plant they came from,then when I flower the plants I grew from seed Id know which of the clones are male or female ,get rid of the male clones ,get rid of the males that I grew from seed ,continue growing the females that I grew from seed while growing the female clones under fluros ,when the females that I grew from seed finish ,replace them with the clones that I took from them ,now id have 4 female plants that I could take more clones from ..etc etc.

Yeah wingnutter that'ld be no worries it just means you have more plants around so if your busted they'ld get you with a lot more plants.
I suppose it's just how safe you feel.
