i have a couple of questions , I am getting ready to switch to hydro and have read alot, and picked out a 4ft x 6ft ebb and flow tray, under a 1000watt hps( will only vege for 1 week then flower ( have other area fro clones and moms) i plan on useing grow rocks in a 4 1/2 in netpots. has any one tried to cover the tray with white plastic with holes for the plants, was hopeing this would reflect up more light and prevent algee growth. Also has anyone used pureblend as a kicker to GH nutes, was aready going to use E.J. catalyst with GH nutes. peace mota20

This idea will work great, the cover will do exactly what you said, stop algae growth & reflect a tiny bit of light. As for the pureblend I've never tried it but I'm currently using the Earth Juice catalyst with GH nutrients,it works great, the EJ is all organic & contains many macro-nutrients>PEACE

hey, the ebb/flow table works great and is easy!never used a cover as i plant v.close and little lite gets below the canopy,as for pure blend it`s ok and works best in the last month.gh nutes are the best and buffer the ph so theres no major swings.never have had any now that i thing about it,set ph, add nutes and check 24hrs later and should be `bout perfect-5.8-6.2. senna
