Wilted plants

Hi everyone. Two quick questions...
First, I transplanted my plants into an ebb/flow sytem 2 days ago. The flood
cycle was set for every 3 hours and the Jiffy mix the seedlings were originally
planted in semed to stay quite wet, yet the plants appeared to quickly
recover. Last night, I changed the flood cycle to every 2 hours (for 30
seconds), and when I woke up, the plants look droopy and wilted, yet very dark
green. Any suggestions on optimum flooding schedule? Apparently more isn't
better! Also, I usually use NFT, but thought that using a flood system in a
large container would provide more room for the roots to grow for my mothers
(the plants are in a large rubbermaid container filled with rock
pellets/perlite as opposed to pvc tubes). Is the trade off (root space at the
expense of constant nutrient delivery) worth it?
Also, has anyone heard of a canadian company called the PLASTIC COMPANY? They
manufacture the NUTRIDIP TDS METER. I'd like to get mine serviced.

I have had the same thing happen when putting plants into bubbler systems with full strength nutes. The plants green up nicely and then droop alittle. They get used to it quickly though and stand back up. Let them be for a few days as long as there is no yellowing of the leaves and they keep growing. They will stand up.

I have my F&D; system on every 1 hour for 10 min. Any other schedule that I used didn't work because the roots were drying out. Until there is a good root mass, you'll have to water more ofter for longer periods of time. Hope this helps. 420

i use geolite and flood every hour.most people think im crazy they always say 4xday or whatever but i think alot of them may also be using rockwool with their geolite.ppm's 1150 or so in veg higher in bloom. durban
