i just started smoking with my mom this year. its great! i find it a lot easier to talk to her now.

Smoking with your parents makes it easier for you to talk to them about other topics. Marijuana, and all drugs for that matter, are usually one of those issues that a lot of parents try to avoid, or don't explain well to their kids. If a teen smokes with his parent, or even if the parent knows that he/she smokes, and doesn't take a hissy-fit, then the teen will feel much more comfortable around his/her parents. Other important topics, such as sex, can now be taked about more easily. The teen will be more open to their parents, and they will get "closer" to them.
Parents of kids who smoke the dope: Don't get pissed about it. Let your kid know the dangers with smoking, but don't ground them and not talk to them for a week because of it.

I started smoking when i was 9. My mom never smoked with me until i was 15. I will say that i have been smoking it for years and i'm a straight a student who goes to Sumner Academy. Maryjane helped me deal with a depression problem and has given me a different, better outlook on life.

wqhen will we realize that the effects of our common drug are diffrent one way or another for everyone of us soem it cures depresion some it causes it some it retards growth and some it produces great clarity and revolutionary ideas springing forth to great a brighter world for all.
but all this matters not
for we are the "protectors" or "guides" to our children we are the ones who are charged with the task of showing them this world for which we have prsented them.
we are here to show them the darkest corners and the brightest expances. this drug of our can show them things that sobriety cannot and we cannot force them to try it nor can we force them to abstain from it both would be wrong.
neither would help them. so who are we to say how such a tool should be used.
who are we go show them a wrench but keep away. who are we to decided?

i wouldnt bring it to my kids. there going to try it on there own sooner or later. and than they can see if its for them or not. but no kid in my house is going to smoke. at least not with my knwing. after they move out its up to them.

My kids can roll a pretty mean spliff, and they are 6 and 8 years old, respectively. We toke up after get home from school, and man do we have a blast! They used to fix me up when I was on heroin, but I kicked that shit cold turkey (and so did they----and they still got A's at school!). Man, my kids are the bomb. They are the coolest people I know.
