Sometime around 1973 give or take a year or so there was a drug that appeared on the streets. I forget the name of it. Maybe one of you older fellas might remember. Anyway this drug was really really good; better than meth and alot of the guys were booting it. It was so good that they just kept on doing it until a few guys died in my home town (Kitchener, Ont.). I'm pretty sure the drug had 4 initials. When I first saw the initials I realized that they were identical with some mortgage and housing association. Now this drug 'may' have been MDMA. It wasn't MDA or any of the common ones. I thought it might have been PMA but while it can be deadly PMA has only 3 initials and apparently the high isn't on par with MDA, MDMA etc. Does any of this ring a bell? I've been trying to figure out what this drug was for years now but just can't quite remember it.
It disappeared from the streets at that time as well but may have come back?

It wasn't 2cb. It had 4 initials. Maybe it was MDMA. Who knows. I wonder what MDMA is like if you boot it?

Well the mortgage and housing association in Canada that you are thinking of is probably CMHC.
MDMA has been around a long time, but it really didn't start to become popular until the mid 80's. MDA was more popular in the early 70's. I'm willing to bet that MDA is the drug you are talking about. I have a co-worker who used to shoot it with friends. They would be up for days partying. He and his friends all became casualties of 70's drug culture. Alcoholics, addictions, health concerns (liver problems, hepatitis etc).
If you've never tried MDMA, you may want to do a little research and check it out. MDMA is great therapy. You feel about as good as humanly possible IMO. It's a great stress reliever, it doesn't really impair you if you know what I mean. It tunes you in to your surroundings and relaxes you. Accompanying the heightened senses you usually experience some visuals and often vibrating jaw muscles.
The contents of street E pills should be a concern if anyone chooses to try ecstasy. These days, as you know they are often mixed with MDA, METH or some other unwanted chemical. You can purchase test kits online which will give you a clearer picture as to what chemical may be active in any E pills.
Frequent E use will likely cause depression, so be careful.
Hey Blathazar, I know that you didn't ask for my opinion on ecstasy, but I gave it to you anyway!!!! E is FUN!!!!

If it was any kind of psychedelic, it will probably be listed in either Phikal or Tihkal. I remember reading that DOM (aka. STP) went through a wave of popularity around that time.
If the drug was neither phenethylamine or tryptamine, you could try looking around Erowid to see if it is mentionaed anywhere.

Indogreen: 'Booting means injecting'. One of the people above suggested that the drug in question was MDA. It wasn't because these guys also booted MDA. They said that it was much better than meth or MDA.

Mekki: I've looked at those places and nothing rings a bell. I think that it might have been 'E'. But I don't know how great 'E' is when injected.

hmmmmmmmmm, my friend jus mentioned that last night why people don't inject e. i though u ment booty bumpin', stickin' it up ur ass... sallowin' a pill, 30%; power bombin' a pill (crushing it up in a piece of paper than taking it) 50%; booty bumpin', 80% of ur mdma is absorbed, or so i hear. don't know bout snortin' or shootin' though.
