you know, there's a much simpler and faster method than all this. basically, do this...Whatever u are baking, figuire out how much butter or oil it calls for. Bring the oil or butter to a temp that is hot to the touch, but not burning, just that u can barely stand to keep your finger in it. Grind up your weed, throw it in. Let it simmer for an hour or so. The mixture will turn slightly green. Put the mixture through a strainer (optional) and simply through it up the recepie. That's it. It works, i do it all the time. Happy Tokin

the first resipe is the same i use except i let te butter simmer in a dubble boiler for 5 houres becuse the dubble boiler keeps the heat down heat kill thc thats whats rong with your recipe

The double boiler method has never failed me yet! This should be the recommended method of extracting THC from your herb.

It may be a good way to mix the two, but dont forget that heat beaks down the thc, so the longer you have it simmering, the more thc you are breaking down and losing.

hey i was gonna say simmer it very low but hey if you got double boiler use it .anyone know what mircowaving it does i know its bad does it fuk with molecules and destroy thc that way? simmering it in butter is good for maybe bud but id be afraid of the heat . anyone see thosetimothy learyy biscuits you but bud and some cheese on a craker and mircowave it > youd have to be rich or insane like learyy to do such a thing i think but id gladly try one with Your bud LOL

heres a picture of my cup cakes made from dunkin heines choclate chip choclate cake mis with melted choclate added and choclate icing using cannabutter in mix .there was a little fiber becuase i choose not to strain it before refrigerating and the shwagg was too close to the top of the mixture when it congealed

My friends were having domestic difficulties .They heard the news that cannabis was bad for
heart disease and were worried about their health because a perfectly healthy friend of theirs had
died recently .They knew they had to quit cigarettes and when they did they both got on edge and
began arguing so they tried to smoke pot to take off the edge Then they quit the pot in fear of
lung damage and aggravating their hearts after a time they began fighting again so recently turned
to beer but the hang overs and calories were too much so they bought me some cake mixes and I
had some shake donated me so I did as follows:
cannabutter recipes
3/4 a pound of butter
sandwich bag of shake (leafs and stems ) Ounce or two
4 or 5 cups of water in tall pot with lid
melt butter in water add shake and simmer for 2 to 3 hrs
remove from heat strain or run mixture thru cheese cloth
leave in fridge overnight to settle ,butter hardens on top of murky mixture
next day slice and remove hardened cannabutter on top and dump rest down toilet
the THC from your shwagg is now contained in fat molecules of the butter ..
This I mixed half and half in a Duncan Heins lemon supreme cake mix and betty crocker milk
chocolate cake mix these I made 12 cup cakes and two small cakes with .Mixing it with
something sweet really helps cause it tastes strongly of herb
Anyhow so together we ate these cupcakes and cakes and drank coffee and I smoked some of my
northern lights cross nl5 and a few others had some too but they ate most forgetting about their
diets and laughing before long at all . They started calling each other pet names again and being
affectionate towards each other .I gave them two more to take home with them to have before
bed . “Thank You very much “,she said “you may have saved our relationship but I don’t know
for how long “ They quiped as they left

im making them again tonight see the luv muffin recipee i think i got it down better . double boiler is good ,straining it is ok . it still hardens in fridge over night , freezing it is not good youll have hard time getting butter off top of mixture . oh yeah it stinks up kitchen .. tonight i used two ounces of shake donated me ,3/4 pound of butter ( you can use margerine as long as its hard margarine ) so it forms layer in fridge . thc is fat soluable
