hi.
None of these recipes require "good bud." In fact, bud is totally optional. Leaf trimmings and shake are the usual forms of cannabis in cooking.
There are lots of benifits to eating cannabis.
A - it's healthier for you. B - the stone lasts way longer than with smoking pot C - it is an excellent alternative for people who cannot smoke for whatever reason.
I have been eating cannabis for years. I don't normally cook with buds. But leaf trimmings, lower buds and shake are great ways to get high when used in cooking.
Go buy a bag of shake for 10 bucks and make some butter, you'll get more stoned than you would on smoking 10 bucks worth of weed. And it'll probably last you a few days so you can get baked every day till it's gone.
Try it!!!

you can make individual portions using only a gram or two
the easiest thing to make is tea
put herb plus two cups whole milk or soy milk in a small sauce pan *simmer* for 30 mins stirring frequently turn off heat, pour into one big coffee mug add 1 mint teabag for taste and steep for five minutes
you might have to play with the measurements until you get the results you like but at least you will only be using small amounts in your culinary experiments

it's true, the stone from eating the herb does last way longer!
