cooking with cannabis [Post#: 62982 / re: 62875 ]

I plan on trying my hand at cooking with cannabis but I am not sure of the terms shake/trimmings. Can I cook the fan/shade leaves or am I just supposed to use the leaf trimmings from around the buds?

Hi.

You can cook with all of it really.

Obviously though, cooking with buds is the most potent. Then comes the trimmings which are those leaves that get trimmed away from the buds in the manicuring process, they often have trichrome crystals on them. Lastly are the fan leaves, which you can cook with but you need to eat a lot more of it to get stoned.

So really you can cook with all of it! But I almost always use bud or trimmings.

Good luck!
