hi friday, or anyone else who cares to post an answer. kinda new to the cooking thing, and although i've been smoking for quite sometime, i guess you wouldn't reall call me a conisseur (sp?) of weed. anyway, i am curious as to what exactly you mean by the term 'shake'? thanks....

shake : is the leaves only ... p.s. the leaves on the bud itself are grade #1

HI Jeeba-d.
Yes, "shake" normally refers to the leaves that are trimmed off the buds. Ranging from large fan leaves down to small leaf trimmings.
You can cook with bud as well, though it's expensive to do so.
