to make an omlet mixture in a bowl then put finly grated resin in then cook. wold this work?

Ugh. Your resin would turn into some sort of coagulated grease type congealed stuff. It would be better to use kif.

in aesop's defense, i think he was only trying to add a bit of sarcasm to the post.
and in answer to your question...... kif, as far as i know, is the pure form of the crystals that form on marijuana. to make it, just get yourself a silk screen, a jar, some coins, and some nice nuggets. put the coins and nugs in the jar, and cover the jar with the silk screen. then shake while holding the jar up-side down.
make sure you do it on top of a mirror or glass or something though, as it is sometimes difficult to see some of the precious crystals and the mirror makes it a bit easier. the end result is a powdery substance called..... KIF. it turns out to be green, or gold, or white (depends on the bud i guess). those are the only colors ive seen it turn out though, i suppose there might be more.
if someone out there knows a better method of making kif, please correct me.

my friend knowz a guy that makes kif boxes. i don't know if they're stone or wood, but they cum in different sizes. open it up, roll ur budz on tha screan, & then take tha mirror out & vualla!

Here in Australia we refer to the trim and the leaf and small tips as "kiff". Probably incorrectly labelled but it is the lowest quality you can buy here!!
I would suggest using bud and bud trim exclusively for cooking, the big leaves rarely have enough THC to bother with. Some varieties have frosty resin all over everything, use everything on these plants, dont throw away a twig!
I have never tried cooking with resin, but there is a plan afoot for someone to experiment with making hash oil "Taffee". I'm waiting for the report..I am sure your omlette plan would work but you may want to just eat it separately because you dont need much.
I like to wrap up a good sized ball in a rolling paper ,single layer, and swallow that...It takes about 3/4 hour to come on then its like slow release over a long period of time..Its the only way I have ever eaten hash oil or sifted resin and it works well.

Hey, it is a good idea; I just have a vivid imagination and pictured a black, gooey omlete. Not my idea of appetizing. Folks are right about kif. It is pure crystal. Indogreen mentioned a good method of separation. It is contained and does not allow the crystals to spill or get lost. Maybe the omlet would work best if you melted the weed stuff into some cheese first, then cooked it into the omlette.
