I Was Wondering If It Would Be Possible To Make Tea??? Put A Bunch Of Ground Bud In 1 Of Those Metal Tea Bags.... and would you get high... i would try it my self but i am short on weed and cash right now...Thanks

Friday's tea time.
4 cups water
1 cup marijuana leaf
2 of your favorite tea bags
honey (optional, but good)
milk/soy milk/rice milk (optional, but good)
Boil leaves in water for about 15 min. Add tea bags and or milk/honey and boil for another 5-10 min.
** If adding milk, pour very slowly so the milk doesn't curdle. Or microwave the milk first so it's a little warm as it hits the boiling tea.

Since THC doesn't dissolve in hot water alone and the material is later strained and never directly consumed, no strong effect will be produced from water-based herbal tea. Additional boiling time with added milk and honey may provide a suitable carrier for cannabinoids to dissolve into.

I think the milk and honey would make the tea taste and work better. This forum has great potential and needs to be contributed to more by us.

Cool, i was just wondering how to make it and "BANG" there it was!, isearched for it before and nothing, if you want only a cup you just need to boil it all down to the rough size ya need, misterlto is right about thc and water, my way is to boil to how ever many glasses are needed, remove leaves, then add the tea flavor you want as well as some honey and grind up a small amount of bud(use the dry stuff). make sure the bud is ground up well, sprinkle in,stir, and your on your way! :)taz

In order to get the thc transfer, you need saturated fat.If you're making tea because you enjoy the herb flavor,great. But if you're trying to catch a potent buzz, you'd be better off infusing the herb in milk-cream and adding it to your tea...

The best mthod is to save seeds for awhile. Fill a perculating coffee pot,s filer section half full with the seeds. Perculate for 30 45 minutes after it has started to boil. Once the seeds have popped open remove from heat, pour a cupfull and add honey to taste. In a short time you will feel a warmness cover you whole body, sit back and enjoy the ride.

milk works particularly well because the lethicin in the milk works to evenly distribute the milk fat in tiny microdroplets which then surround and dissolve/absorb the THC much more effectively than an equivalent amount of fat in butter and water
don't bother using skim milk! even whole milk is good enough
add a couple of mint tea bags after the milk/water/herb has boiled for 20-30mins...the mint makes a nice partner to the herb taste
i make 1.5 litres of weed tea and add some alcohol and sugar to make a liqueur...you can buy fake kahlua and other such flavourings at the u-brew-it store

ok guys, here's my experience...save lots of seeds (they have worked all alone b4, they must have sum thc) and some herb. those funky tasting herbal blends by chils etc. work 2; but taste horendus. i used 2 work at baskin robbins, a mocha blast covers the taste insanely...ne way just boil all of the ingredients u want in water/milk/alcohol and drink, quick for a head rush -feels very nice for about 3 hours and then u crash like a mutha

no man- not to sound like i'm arguing but green elfis right, there really isn't thc in seeds- maybe it's cause there's some glands/ resin rubed off on the seeds' extirior...

Although the thing about THC dissolving better into fatty liquids like milk, I must say that I've had ganja tea made with Friday's recioe and it was indeed potent.
Counterintuitive, perhaps, but it works.

Hey guys, there are some nice recipes here. I must try them. In the past I've just boiled up a few stalks. It gives an excellent mild hit and lets you save the buds for smoking.
