Space Cake: What form of Hash to use

Guys, I am a bit of a novice, so please be gentle with my ignorance...
Basically, I want to bake a space cake, but the problem is that I cannot get hold of hash in the leaf/weed form. Rather, I can get the hard/concentrated (kind of stone)staff, which in greece we call "chocolate". Can I use this staff for the space cake and if yes, how should I melt it with the butter?

Try to break or chop the hashish into as small of pieces as is possible. Use it in cannabutter at a rate of one to two grams per intended serving.
