If I can't find anyone who'll give me shake 4 free, what would be a reasonable price to pay for 1/2lb of shake?

I think it's unreasonable to pay for shake at all. But if you are, you should get at least a plastic grocery bag full for $10 (canadian $). So a half pound should cost you like, $2.
Don't get ripped off. If grower's aren't smart enough to keep this themselves, they would just be throwing it out anyways, so it should be free.
hope you can find someone to help you out,

i paid $20 for a pound of shake (large ziplock tightly packed with lots of crystally trim at the bottom)...it was enough to make about 3.5 pounds of cannabutter which yielded about 4 months worth of medicine for my ailing friend
pretty good value!
its harder to get shake than it is to get pot
