I want to make weed brownies from a brownie mix bought from the store. It calls for 1/3 cup vegetable oil. Can someone tell me how i should cook the weed in the oil to make the mix potent. Also, will it be as potent since the recipe does not call for butter?

Hi eggman.
You don't cook the weed if you're making oil. What you do is add your cannabis to any oil, and store in a dark cool place for about 3 days. Then use a cheese cloth or other strainer to strain the oil away from the cannabis.
It should still be as potent as using butter, really there's no difference in potency, more just the type of fat it's being absorbed into.
You can make a large batch of the oil to have on hand, but if you're making the oil for this recipe only, you'll need about 3 grams of pot for your 1/3 cup oil.
happy "baking" Friday

How do you do what? My response above explains how to make the oil you need to add to your brownie mix. I'm confused as to what else you need to know.
