How much shake? [Post#: 77279 ]

Hi good people on the list!

I am planning on making brownies (off the shelf variety). I have mucho shake, and was wondering how much I should use for a batch of killer b's? I have dried the leaf, and then put it in the blender, so it is now just a green
powder.

Also, I read on this forum that instead of using butter to leach out the THC, that instead folks just put the shake in
oil and leave it for a few days, then drain out the oil and add to the brownies. IS this a better way to go? If so, why?

Thanks very much. I wish I could send everyone on this forum a big fat brownie that will let their spirits soar...

Peace

Hi velveteen,

You can use as much shake as you want, depending on how potent you want them to be. But I'd start with roughly a cup of ground cannabis. (not a bad idea to brown it in a little oil on the stove top first). As your're adding the cannabis to your mixture, take note of it's original texture and try to ensure that it doesn't change drastically, as a measure of where to draw the limit.

We do indeed make oil, as well as butter with cannabis. I wouldn't say this is a better way to go, but if you're vegan it gives you an alternative to using margerine or butter.

I wish you could send us one too!

happy baking,

I make the canna butter first then use it as reg. butter in brownies or rice crispys. Num Num. Totaly different high. Very tripy.
