I was very impressed by the taste of the Bhang Lassie. I would like to know if it could be made into an ice cream? That would be an interesting recipe if it can be done.

Hi Dirtroad,
I don't know that the bhanglassie could be made into an ice-cream, but it is traditionally made with yogurt, giving it a very thick consistency. I'm sure if you had an ice-cream recipe, you could add many of the ingredience in the bhanglassie to give it that same flavour. And garnish with rose petals! I love the idea.
thanks for your comments,
love, CiCi

Hi Stedd,
Whenever some hash comes our way, I do promise you that I will make a delightful hash dish on my show. Xmas egg nog is also a great idea; I will look for a recipe and post it on the forum for you.
As for the Bush thing...well, no comment.

Go Hillary 2004
about the show, the bhang, delicious. the greek orso, delicious. im sure all of you have all experienced a phish concert. well its been since the early nineties for me, but the heads in the parking lots sold these chocalate, nutty, caramel, ganja balls that were fucking incredible, each one must of had like 5 grams in it. try making a super potent batch of these on the show. i wish i could remember the name that they called them.. oh well just think like those feraro rochelle chocolates, with a truck load of bud in them.

I think the show is great, but I'd really love to see some improvements in the sound quality on Shake n' Bake and other Pot-tv shows in general. I think too that perhaps the program would also benefit from a little more preparation prior to the show. The recent episode where Cici and Renee made the Bhang Lhasse is a good example. The ingredients such as the almonds used in the recipe could be already prepped and measured to save time. Procedures such as the straining of the mixture could also be performed prior to filming to test their reliability. It was kind of painful for me when it came to watching that mixture dripping so slowly through the cheesecloth! Overall though I really enjoy the program and look forward to seeing it evolve and progress as time goes by. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to express my input, and keep up the good work!! Best of luck to you all with your endeavors! RCcola

I look forward to making the stoned stuffing featured on the latest Shake and Bake. Only tried the lentil soup thus far and it was so good, the other stuff must be good too. Great tips like freezing the onion and easy way to peel garlic. Ci Ci mentioned your (camera girl's) pot potatoes. Is that the recipe for sweet potatoes from last year's Christmas feast recipes?
re Bush. Recently on Salon.com, the former Expos and Red Sox pitcher Bill "Spaceman" Lee said he was for Bush because he got stoned with him once - and unlike Clinton, Bush definitely inhaled. Spaceman was booted out of baseball for admitting that he "sprinkled marijuana on his corn flakes." I got stoned with Spaceman at the house of a mutual friend in 1973. I find the idea that I got stoned with someone who got stoned with the US President rather disturbing. I suspect Bush would give even cannabis a bad name.
