Can the acid bought on the street be trusted? Also, how much would this cost?

The safety of the acid you buy on the street depends on who you buy it from. Most likely the worst thing that will happen is you get some bunk acid. However some street acid has chemicals added to it to make the trip more intense or come on quicker like strychnine. Acid can cost as little as .75 - 10/ hit. Get to know the dealer first and then you will know whether or not you can trust him.

I havent ever really had a problem buying bunk acid that doesnt even do anything when I am in the city, here that is all there is though (translation= no acid here), just bought weak acid sometimes for 5$, got some nice stuff with 5$ too though.
I have never heard of stories of people buying acid with bad stuff that hurts them in any way, just buying acid that either works or doesnt, like I said, some stronger then others.

I thought strychnine was only used to get the oily LSD to adhere(or dry) to the blotter. I am pretty sure that's all it's for. I haven't had any like that in a long time, most of the stuff around here is liquid anyway, and very clean.

buying 'street acid' and getting bunked is probably the second nicest alt universe you could achieve.
in the old days when everyone raved about 'orange sunshine' or 'mr natural' (blotter acid) or pillows
someone usually copied them.........and more often than not it was still pretty good (just 1/2 dose - 2 to
300mics). then people made disco acid (1/4 to 1/3 dose + speed - kick you in orbit) acid was good speed
was well SPEED (i firmly believe in the individuals right to use any drug). unfortunately there were people who would sell blotters with piss on them as well (to my knowledge you don't get off on it!) anything else within
reach.
Maybe your street has more highly evolved (dealer) people on it, hope so!

i'd never buy acid off the street. Although i've never heard any complaints before. Everytime im in vancouver i get about 30 guys/girls coming up to me and sayin really quiet "mushrooms... acid?". I would never buy acid off of these guys, their street people and think about how they would get good acid. Ask your trusted weed dealer for acid or ask your friends if they know anyone. Always go through a friend of a friend as opposed to street.

I have to agree with Ben here dudes...if you take LSD it would be wise to be sure it is quality product. Sometimes acid can be found readily at cheap costs, however with your limited experience you should consider a more appropriate situation for using LSD, rather than approachching people on the street or strangers and taking a mystery tab, pill, cube, vile...whatever.
Try and do acid or MUSHROOMS (I highly recommend mushrooms for psycedellic experiences) with someone that has already had a psycedellic eperience! Get some acid that is reputable for a good experience and you know to be genuine. I do agree with Kerz. that people should have the right to use what substances they want, but I also feel that this means knowing what substances they take, and not take mysterious combinations of different compounds which often appear on the street. If it weren't for the drug war, I figure people in Cities would do less of the hardcore sketchy drugs and could trip, roll or rave, more safely and be educated about the substances they are chosing to use. My understanding is that strychnine is a natural by-product of LSD that occurs as the chemical brakesdown. There's not enough strychnine to do you any harm since the LSD is in such tiny amounts (nothin' packs more punch for its size).
