DOMESTIC ISSUES FIRST PLEASE?

Once again i sit here and spark up, and once again i get noided out. I'm wondering why our government, the most "powerful" government in the whole world, as is beaten into our heads since birth by the way, is so quick to solve world issues while ignoring domestic ones?
I mean I love my country,but man we have issues. Who doesn't have needs? We all have them, even our government, which i liken to a child, a child in college. No offense to the college whizzes out there, but i was there too! They listen to us, they need our opinions, but most of all, they need our money, sad but all too true.
I mean, i don't know about y'all, but i like to know what i'm paying for, imagine that audit, lol. I hear office doors slammin on capitol hill, lol. Anyway, why can't the government see the cries of their own people, I mean we do pay the rent, and I wanna know why we get ignored, while your off solving problems that y'all f*&^ed up, not us?
But anywho just something to mull over

I just sparked up on this post and decided to jump in because I like it! By the way you mentioned noided out.
Here where I live is the home of the noid. They have dominoes pizza and there is this dude called the Noid. He wears a costume with long ears and disrupts pizza deliveries. The costume is like you would see of the characters at Walt Diseny World. There was a manager of Dominoes who used to put this costume on with a manic grin and go on the street and sort of expose himself in side the costume. He was the Noid! hehehe

This was an old argument about the USA feeding the poor in Africa and yet the USA has poverty in it's own country. I also see larger implications of this because not only does the US send food to places. The USA also sends money and guns to keep order in other countries. It's hard to solve our own issues - ANYWHERE!
Alot of the USAs governing is left up to the people. My point is the USA is a basically law abiding society that has little infringment on the citesens rights. Basically if a person wants to... they can do anything they want but if their society does not approve then they will get narced off quick. What I'm saying is the citizens do alot of the enforcement of the laws and for the most part the law is what ever people feel is right in their gut. It's like if you see someone drop a 20 dollar bill. You tell him he dropped it. In general most people in the USA are like you and me. We follow the rules. So there's little need for cops. Canada has much fewer cops. People up there follow the rules.
I dont want to put down the USA. There are alot of people with good spirits in the USA. I am proud of the people in the USA. (It's funny but my best friend is from Korea and my other best friend is from the philopeans.) My point is most of the people in the USA came from other countries.
So I ranted about free will in society. Thank you
But it all comes down to domestic issues. The very best place to make change is right where you live. For the most part a citisens life in America is his own making. If a person is poor, relief and aid can be Found if the person looks for it. Unfortunately there are people who really dont want help. They are happy being poor and really dont want hand outs. I'm one of them. Alot of the working class is by the USA standards - poor. All the government can do is give them a choice. Whether the choices given are good ones or not I disagree with. For the most part to help someone the people should do it personally rather than wait from some government to solve all of it's societies billions of problems. Many countries recognise this but it not the total solution.
The problem flips to the other side where you mentioned the USA is in other countries over it's own bogus agenda called the drug war. The rehtoric is: If the little countries wont enforce the drug law then the USA will make them enforce it. Does it work? No it doesnt. It keeps the old South American colonial politics going which most American citisens don't seem to mind. Hummm....

It's hard to love the USA because there are things Americans see around them that they don't approve of. When the TV has news stories about "Drug Lords", "Communist guerillas" it's like listening to Russian radio during the Stalin days. The thing is the USA knows it's citisens wont always listen to that stuff and the American public can be a huge influence in American politics.

I think each person should decide within their ownself what is right and abide by that.
