well it`s that time of year again, down here they start at the beginning of the season and again in the fall.
btw if you look at the pic real good you can see the
flir>(sp) unit along with the `midnite sun lite.

My photo was too blurry to see, but I could tell it was a police chopper. All the choppers in San Diego have IR cameras because they're so useful for catching Mexican immigrants, drug runners, etc. I always see them in use on the news, but doubt they'd bother looking for people growing inside their houses, especially in my neighborhood, since there is so much more to be intercepted at the border. My fluoros dont give off much heat anyway...

I am in san diego too, and the chopper just flew over my place and I saw him circling somewhere about a half-mile south of me, and then he turned his spot light on, I figure they are looking for car thieves or they provide support for the cops during a chase or something. It is crappy, but as long as they leave the growers alone and just bust the thieves, I'm ok with it, but I'd prefer not having them flying over head like some sort of police state crap. I hope everything turned out ok for you man. Keep us posted, cuz I have an interest in it as well.

Well, nobody has busted down my door yet. I'm not worried. I've actually had them shine their spotlight directly onto my house, but that was back before I was growing. I thought it was pretty cool at the time, but I'd totally freak out if they did that to me now..hehe. Anyway, what part of SD are you in? I'm in Mission beach.
