How big are you guy's plants at eight days? Are your stems purple? Just making sure I'm doing alright.

Whether or not the stem is purple can be a couple of things. It could be a sign of a nutrient defficiency (unlikely at that age) but it can also be a genetic trait of the strain you are growing.
I have some pictures at my ladies at 8 days I will attach them now. THey are since much older but I've been journaling their growth.

What kind of lighting are you using sanfran? Those are much bigger than mine..

I'm using a 1000 watt Hortilux HPS and 160 watts of fluro's two cool two warm.

The key with flouros if you use them is to keep it close to the plant tops. Beyond a couple of inches they're not nearly as effective, in my experience.
