I lowered my ph a few days ago and I just checked it again and it's running really high like 7.5 or so. I watered like 4 or 5 days ago..should I water again to because I have to to lower the ph because of my mixture with the water, but I'm worried about overwatering??

I have that problem too. I think it might be from using tap water, so I only use distilled water now.

yeh Im' using distilled water. I think the reason this is happening is because I transplanted and i used the dirt from the bottom of my bigger bucket to fill up two smaller ones..I think the mixture that i used to lower my ph never got to that part of the dirt, therefore it didn't lower the ph at all. I'm thinking about watering today with the mixture and seeing what happens. Do you think I'll be overwatering though?

4-5 days seems long enough to me, as long as your soil drains well. Be patient with lowering your PH. If you try to lower it too much at once, it will shock your plants, and some leaves will dry up and turn grey.

If your last watering never made it to the bottom of the bigger bucket, then I dont think you'll have an overwatering issue. Under, if anything. I believe the goal is to thoroughly wet it until water comes out the bottom to make sure you get an even watering. No dry spots. Just an fyi.
As far as ph goes, I'm no help there, havent found a good solution other than to start with the right things on the front end. Soiless mixtures with dolomite lime have no ph problems from what I hear. I would imagine I could mix that with any soiless mix and get good results. I'm not sure I would mess with it unless the plant was showing signs of freakitude.
