Is preflowering necessary

Will skipping peflowering decrease yield.
I just want to go straight from 24/7 to 12/12.
I'm using the GH flora series nutes.

Skipping preflowering will not decrease yield, and will actually have you finishing your crop several weeks sooner then if you preflower. YOu can go from 24/7 to 12/12 overnight, just make sure to watch all the plants carefully and yank the males.

FUCKING PERCENTAGES!
Preflowering is not necesary unless you are growing SCROG or are extremely limited with the area of your grow room.
If you are limited on space, consider that plants grow 2-3 times there current height and that the males show flowers much earlier than the females...So unless you're looking to grow a sensamilla SCROG, it shouldn't be an issue.

why would it be an issue with a scrog? you're not supposed to go from 24 to 18 to 12 in a scrog setup are you?

You want to eliminate any males before they grow into the screen, so its better just to start with plants you already know are female...K_K
