Tiny buds maturing early. Turning red already. Whatt to do?????
Unfortunately, I changed grow set ups and my new one didn't have white walls. Shiny material from Walmart. I think I screwed myself. My buds are so tiny. Check 'em out next to a quarter.
I'm embarassed.

Should I just go ahead and harvest? Here is a closeup bud next to a quarter. The quarter is probably worth more.

Tell us about your light setup....? Fertilizing program? Growing in soil? How old are the plants? Any idea of the strain?

Lights are fluros, but I've had successful grows with them before.
Fertilizer is like a 10-52-10 Super Bloom.
I know my set up sucks for this go around. I'll have to fix for next grow.
Basically, I think I'll just wait and harvest the little buggers when they're a little further along. It's just a disappointment.

Theres all kinds of reason for a low harvest. K deficiency causes small buds, but so do the obvious things like lights and heredity (I know some of the marc emery seeds say they are low-producing). If it looks done, I would pick and see if it regenerates, then try something different.

Can you elaborate a little more on your lighting? What size/type of tube, how many watts per square foot, etc? A picture of your lighting arrangement would help too

here's a pic of the grow area. these fluros have been good on previous grows. The area is about 2 x 4' and there are about five 200w lights and a long 2-40w. I think it's the smaller space that would have made the difference. These gals don't have white walls or anything.
Some buds are turning red, others are still producing white hairs . . . i guess it's just a waiting game. Either way, I can't reveg, I gotta shut down the operation for a couple of months. Relatives and such.

How long have they been on the 12/12 cycle??? They look fine to me.. Just in early stages. Pistil color is an innacurate way to base harvesting time.. Get a 10 dollar 30x magnifier from radio shack.. When the trichomes are hazy its time.

heck i wouldnt care if i had those plants atleast i could have known i grew it good enough :)

45 days now on 12/12 (92 total) . . . i have the magnifier . . . all the goop on the leaves should be hazy??? the little globs of clear stuff?
I'm going to Amsterdam in less than two months. FInally, some good seeds . . . and weed . . .Thanks for everyone's help on this. I think I"m just having a small grow this time . . . shutting down for a couple months will give me time to fix up the current set up.

yo when you go to da dam,try and hop a train to Copenhagen Denmark,they got these hella cool chronic swap meets,and plus denmark aint as big a tourist trap as amsterdam is,oh also when your in da dam go to a coffeeshop called TWILIGHT ZONE ask em for some SantaMaria,i'm tellin you man this is some herb unlike any other,i dont wanna ruin it for ya so go try it out when your there,kapeesh OK safetravels and goodluck to ya............

plants look fine man,just need to upgrade ya lighting a bit.
im not to sure about those energy saving type bulbs either.
go for the big one m8 get a 400w sodium and all your worries will just waste away.I went from strips to sodium years ago man and wow wot a difference,is well worth it m8.
if you put those plants under a sodium they would have been cool.ok go get one ,be safe stay stoned and grow da nugs!!
