son agro are hps sodium lights. agro sun makes a mh bulb .this seems to be confusing about your question. the sodium bulb will use an igniter inside the ballast box and the metal halid won't. the only thing in your question that stood out was the size of you container 1 - 1.5 gallons. this sounds a little small for soil growing for maximun yields.

If things went smooth throughout veg... Then after 8 weeks or so of flowering .. you SHOULD be impressed. Are you waiting long enough??? Some people early harvest not knowing that they are going to start packing it on within the next few weeks..... ok i just read over this thread a little more.. I think your problem is pot size. They problem are rootbound and stunted.. Grow less plants... bigger pots... Also.. I dont know about the amonia stuff for violets.. Try to keep things to a minimum.. That way there are less factors to throw you off... and you can be sure what is working and what isnt.

Start with bigger pots and get the ionizer out of the room IMHO. Mylar looks cool, but can be done wrong. Flat white paint is cheap, permanent and cannot create hot spots. Learn from your friend who does better with less light. And don't despair, suddenly you'll solve the problem and boom! Buds aplenty!

A 400 will effectively cover a 3'x3' area.Anything out of that area will suffer.Definitely go to bigger pots for flowering.I would reccomend nothing less than a two gallon.Too many plants in the area will also not allow good light penetration.Try to get the light closer.2' is too far away. You may have to come up with some sort of ventilation happening in order to do so,but that light has to get closer.Just an oscillating fan blowing across the tops will allow you to get the light closer.Make sure to use a bloom fert.15-30-15 is fine. You should have air coming in and out of the room to supply fresh air. They will suffer if they don't get adequate venting..IMHO..PEACE..

well I just put like 12 plants in the room before I left for amsterdam and there all like 6-8 inches tall. I have 4 still flowering so there basically all on 12/12. So I pick out the males then switch back to 18/6 right? If there in flower for like a week they can be switched back right? Also, do you think that 10-60-10 is to strong for the plants? I grew a bushy plant just under flourecents and sun light with no fertilizer and it came out perfect. I think the fertz must be lessened.
Freestyle420. Thanx for all your replies, It really helps.
