Watering Times...????

As a general rule, what is the best timeof "it'sday" to water a plant ?
For instance, if Flowering, in it's morning - or evening ?
How about vegging ??

i've found the best time to water,feed,flush,leach to be right when the lights come on,just my humble opinion............
time to be calm
throw da stress in da trashcan
we laughin
mashin to get da afgan......

ok water in the morning,this is the best time,it gives the plant's all day to take up the water and food.If you water just as the light is about to go off the plants will just sit ther, wet and cold on the roots all night,as the plant is not active during the night.To much siting in water ect will only lead to probs!!get up early and let em have it!!

Yeah watering is definately for the beginning part of the plants day.They have all day to soak up the H20,and the nutrients.Watering at night can lead to fungus growth in there and you don't want that.A wise man once told me that a person doesn't want to go lay down in a wet bed,so why should your plants. I have always done the opposite because of what happens in nature...
In nature, during the day the suns rays heat large bodies of water and ice masses, procucing water vapour via sublimation and evaporation. As the earth rotates into the darkness of night, the atmoshphere cools along with the gases (water vapor) that make up the atmosphere. The water vapor soon condenses and falls to the ground as precipitation. This is why rainfall and snowfall occur most commonly at night and early in the morning, especially in areas where the cannabis plant originates from.
In nature it is true that it is common to have rain in the morning with the sun already arose, but this is because there is a lag time in earths heating; in your grow room there is no lag time, so watering right before "sunrise" is not as representative of nature. I have always tried to mimick nature as much as possible thus I water at "night" or in the early morning a few hours before "sunrise."

If you have problems with humidity, watering at night is benificial because less moisure is evaporated as a result of the light, thus less humidity. In addition, less water will evaporate because as the water is absorbed into the soil, it becomes less subseptible to evaporation, there for your plants roots will have more time to absorb the water. Since less moisture is evaporated overall, you will not need to water as often with this schedule, another positive aspec IMO.
If you offer your roots good vention, mold will not be encouraged by watering at night. I tend to think that the heat would encourage mold more than the cold anyhow. I'm very carefull that the root level of my room has sufficient circulation, something alot of beginners overlook IMO.
