transplanting..

I have my two plants in pretty small pots..the roots are coming out of the holes at the bottom, so it's time to transplant. How should I transplant without hurting these roots?

Standard xplant rules apply here, I believe. Make a place in the new soil for the entire root ball of the plant, then gently place your hand flat on the surface with the main stem between your fingers and turn it upside down, gently tapping to release the plant until it comes out. Try not to touch the roots at all, just place it in the new soil and move new soil around it. I usually do this before I water and then saturate the new pot. Havnt had any significant shock problems. Superthrive is supposed to lessen shock when you use it immediately afterward.

Fill the new pot with your chosen soil mix. Find another yoghurt pot the same size as the smaller pot and use it to prepare a hole in the soil. Gently ease the plant from the smaller pot and carefully drop into the prepared hole. Press soil down gently. Water the plant thoroughly.
Some plants will droop soon after transplanting. Just take them out of direct sunlight and they should recover in a couple of hours.
