Hi everone. I'm looking for a grower or dealer that wouldn't mind taking a chance to help out an old long time weed smoker. If you live near West Virginia and have a little (oz+) weed you'd be willing to sell to help me with my cronic pain,(I have osteomylitis) I'd like to hook up.
Don't worry, I'm not a cop nor am I connected in any way with law enforcement. I'm just an old pot head looking for a kind hearted fellow pot head willing to take a chance to help out someone in need.

Cant be hard to find, have never had a problem wherever I go finding some because its everywhere, you dont need to find someone on here to 'hook you up'.

what I have to say is,... no-one will help you hook up on some smoke here,this site isnt for that.But if you want to get some smart assed comments this is the place to come!!!all too often people with they`re stupid ,smart assed remarks jump right in there and slam someone for an honest question....true it seems dumb for someone to ask for some smoke here,but maybe this person really doesnt know what`s up or doesnt have the resources others do.....the smart-assed comment are just that.This kind of shit is what makes me want to turn away from this site and seek my knowledge elsewhere.I too am a medical user and this kind of slamming others for fun and laughing in peoples faces sucks!!!!who the hell raised you people????didnt you ever hear if you cant something nice,dont say anything at all????Instead of making fun of this guy,how about helping him get started on growing his own medicine,how about some compassion????............G.

Sorry to be a smart ass, but C'mon!! Someone that is EXTREMELY new to this site comes in and first thing asks for someone to hook him up with some weed. Nobody knows him, nobody has seem him post anything that shows he isn't a cop! I was just pointing out what a ridiculous request it was. I try NOT to be a smart ass unless the post is just too out there. Admit that you read that post and said to yourself "yeah fucking right someone will just hook him up" and I will admit that it sucks when someone writes a smart assed reply to your post. Sorry if I pissed you guys off, but it's GENERAL GROWING not GENERAL STORE!!

The point could have more politely been made to a newby that this is the General Growing forum.
If he needs MJ for medical reasons, people here will help show him how to do it himself. If it's novice lack of knowledge, the info is here. If it's seed acquisition, there's a (rather boistrous) forum. If there are medical constraints (like not being able to pick up a 5 gal. pot) there are solutions people on the medical forum have already faced.
So he's an old fart. Maybe he ate too much acid in the '60's. Still doesn't mean we should jazz the dude instead of pointing out what the site is for, how it can help him help himself, and where to look. Lots of young kids ask some amazingly dumb questions on here, and for the most part they just get redirected to where they can learn.

OK lets not take ourselves too seriously here. Sometimes you get razzed. Sometimes you don't. If someone wants to connect with this guy they can, it would seem most of us are a little leery of a newbie trying to buy pot. I like the humour in Fastlearner's post.
So the guy got a bit of a hard time from us, we jumped on him because he's not exercising any caution at all. I think the nature of our hobby allows us to consider this kind of communication a breach of the normal security expected from careful people.

Thanks for the backup. I don't think the guy was confused that the people in these forums could teach and help him to grow, I think he just disregarded the name of the forum. Every once in a while, people need to be razzed a bit I think. It may make a couple people leave and go to another site because they are SOOO offended or embarrassed, but the people that stay will re-read their posts a little better before posting. Maybe it will also stop the same questions from getting asked over and over when three post down from the one you just entered is your answer but you are too lazy to read it. I'm not talking about anyone in particular here, just in general. Good luck with the grows and sorry if I offended or pissed anyone off.

TLCS, check out the "Medical Marijuana" forum. Ask about compassion clubs in your area. No one will GIVE you FREE weed as it costs to grow it but they will help you out cheap if you can find them in your area. All the best of luck to you in your quest for medicine and relief.
