POLICE SUED FOR DRUG SEARCH NEAR NORML RALLY The American Civil Liberties Union sued the State Police and Barbour County Sheriff's Department for establishing a drug checkpoint last year near a rally organized by marijuana-law reform advocates.
DAVID NICK WANTS LONG BEACH DA OFF THE CASE San Francisco attorney J. David Nick filed a motion charging that the Long Beach branch of the Los Angeles district attorney's office "are involved in a moral war where they take personal issue against marijuana use for medicinal reasons."
